Westbound M-25 detour for pavement surface treatment in Bay City starts Sept. 20

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $239,000 to complete high-friction surface treatments on westbound M-25 from Water Street to Catherine Street in Bay City.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require closing the roadway and detouring traffic. Westbound M-25 will be detoured via M-84 (Washington Avenue/Garfield Avenue), westbound M-84 (Lafayette Avenue)/M-13 (Salzburg Avenue), and northbound M-13 (Euclid Avenue) back to westbound M-25.
SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS:
This work will preserve the life of the roadway and improve surface friction.
