The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing $6 million to repair I-94 between M-102 (8 Mile Road) and 11 Mile Road in Macomb County. The work includes milling, resurfacing, concrete pavement repairs, and joint repairs in the cities of Eastpointe, Roseville and St. Clair Shores.
Work will occur during nights and weekends as much as possible. On weeknights, one lane will be closed in each direction from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m., when an additional lane will be closed, leaving one lane open until 5 a.m. On weekends, the lane closures will remain in place from 8 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
This maintenance work will improve the pavement condition and ride quality with a smoother driving surface.
