I-75 project near Indian River to start March 2

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $4 million to rebuild 2.3 miles of the southbound lanes of I-75 from the Topinabee Mail Route Road to just north of M-27 (Exit 313). The project also includes guardrail replacement, pavement markings and tree clearing on the roadside. Work will start with tree clearing, with road work to follow in April.
This work will require single-lane closures with traffic shifts.
This project includes new pavement markings and tree clearing to reduce roadside crash hazards.
