March 23, 2020 – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has invested $200,000 to install a new traffic signal at the M-43 (Saginaw Highway)/Delta Commerce Road intersection in Delta Township.
Following the remaining sign upgrades and pavement markings, crews intend to place the signal in flash mode on Monday, March 23. During this one-week period, M-43 traffic will have a flashing yellow light and Delta Commerce Drive traffic will see a flashing red light. After the flash mode has been in place for one week, the signal will become fully operational.
Motorists are asked to use caution when approaching the intersection as traffic adjusts to this new configuration.
