Monday, April 20, 2020
ESTIMATED END DATE:
Friday, June 5, 2020
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be completing the resurfacing of more than 2 miles of I-94 from the Michigan/Indiana state line to M-239. This is a carry-over project from 2019. The $9.5 million investment includes guardrail, culvert repair and replacement, and reconstruction under bridges.

This project will extend the life of the road and increase surface friction, improving safety and providing motorists with a smoother ride.
During Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's stay-at-home executive order, there will be daytime double-lane closures. After the executive order is lifted, there will be daytime single-lane closures and nighttime double-lane closures.
