The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $832,000 to resurface 0.2 miles of M-53 at Atwater Road. One lane of M-53 will be open with traffic moderators during daytime hours.
Atwater Road will be detoured for up to five days to accommodate widening of the road via Bay City Forestville Road, Bad Axe Road, and Atwater Road.
