PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $3.7 million to resurface approximately 26 miles of M-26 and US-41 in Keweenaw County. Work will include asphalt resurfacing, concrete sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, guardrail adjustments, and pavement markings on M-26 from US-41 in Phoenix north to Copper Harbor and on US-41 from Copper Harbor east to the end of US-41. This project includes a three-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
The work will require single-lane closures. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained using traffic regulators
