The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will detour M-142 at Caseville Road and north of Nitz Street to accommodate railroad crossing replacements by Huron & Eastern Railroad.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require closing and detouring M-142 via Caseville Road and Weale Road. This work is weather dependent.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
This work will improve the ride quality at the railroad crossing.
ESSENTIAL WORK:
This road construction project is an essential function. Transportation workers in the field follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines to limit their risk of getting sick.
MDOT will complete repairs on the Liberty Road overpass at I-94, following damage previously sustained during a high-load hit.
