I-75 near Vanderbilt detoured next two weeks for emergency culvert replacement

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will replace two failed culverts beneath I-75 just south of Vanderbilt. Work on the southbound side of I-75 will begin Monday, May 18, and should be completed by Thursday, May 21; work on the northbound side will begin Tuesday, May 26, and should be completed by Friday, May 29.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
During construction, I-75 traffic will be detoured on Old 27 and M-32 between Vanderbilt and Gaylord. The detour will be in effect for southbound traffic May 18-21, and northbound traffic May 26-29. The detour will be lifted May 22-25.
