BACKGROUND:
MDOT plans to replace the M-55 bridge over the Manistee River, a project tentatively expected to begin no earlier than Dec. 1 this year and continue for much of 2021. The project is scheduled to be completed no later than Oct. 30, 2021. This work will require a detour that will remain in place throughout construction, using M-55, Stronach Road, and US-31.
Public input is being sought to help MDOT recognize and address any concerns that may result from the project. Please submit public comment by Oct. 1, 2020.
