I-75 Business Spur detour in Sault Ste. Marie this week
June 21, 2021 -- A detour for I-75 Business Spur (BS) is planned for utility work from June 23-June 25.
Under a permit from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), crews will be performing water and sewer work, requiring the closure of I-75 BS (Portage Avenue) at Salmon Run Way. Eastbound traffic will be detoured on Johnston Street to Easterday Avenue to Ord Street, then back to I-75 BS. The route will be reversed for westbound traffic.
The closure will go into effect Wednesday morning, June 23. The detour is expected to be lifted by Friday evening, June 25.
M-99 traffic signal activation at Moore Road in Hillsdale on Monday
LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be activating the traffic signal at the M-99 (Carl Road)/Moore Road intersection in Hillsdale on Monday.
I-94 rebuilding project in Berrien County starts in early March
COLOMA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is set to begin in early March, rebuilding 8.5 miles of I-94 and four bridges, as well as repairing nine other bridges, between Puetz Road in Stevensville and Britain Avenue in Benton Township, Berrien County. Weather pending, work may start as early as March 4.

Update #2: Annual spring weight restrictions changing on some Michigan roads

US-31 Charlevoix bascule bridge 15-minute closures scheduled for Feb. 12-16
GAYLORD, Mich. - As part of a $6.3 million Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) project to replace the US-31 Charlevoix bascule bridge’s tread and track components, which facilitate the structure’s operation, the bridge will be closed to US-31 traffic for 15-minute periods intermittently between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the nights of Feb. 12-16.
