Carpool lot repairs begin Monday in the UP

ISHPEMING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing repair work on several carpool lots around the central Upper Peninsula.
The US-41/M-28 Alberta carpool lot will be closed for resurfacing and repairs May 23 through June 10. The lot may open sooner if work is completed sooner than expected.
The US-41 L’Anse carpool lot entrances will be repaired May 23 through June 10. The lot will remain open during work.
Repairs on the Marquette County Road 480/M-553 carpool lot will begin during the week of June 6. The lot will be closed for pavement sealing from June 13 to 17.
The US-41/M-28 Harvey carpool lot will be closed for resurfacing and repairs June 19 through 25.
This work is weather dependent; the schedule is tentative and may be adjusted.
