M-21 resurfacing project begins this Friday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing approximately $5 million to resurface 4 miles of M-21 (Fulton Street) from I-96 to Grand River Drive. The project also includes building indirect left-turn lanes at Taos Avenue and Rippling Drive, adding a right-turn lane at Alta Dale Avenue, sidewalk ramp improvements, guardrail, and pavement markings.

Lane closures and traffic shifts will be in effect on M-21.
Jobs numbers:
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support about 61 jobs.
