M-89/M-40/Hubbard Street roundabout construction & resurfacing - Allegan
About this project
In partnership with the City of Allegan, MDOT is investing approximately $7 million to build a roundabout at the M-89/M-40/Hubbard Street intersection in the city of Allegan. The project also includes sidewalk and ramp improvements compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and resurfacing M-89 between M-222 and 29th Street.

Traffic impacts
The M-89/Hubbard Street/Ely Street/M-40 intersection will be closed.
Detours:
- M-89 will be detoured via 26th Street, 114th Avenue (Hooker Road), Eastern Avenue, Industrial Drive, and 118th Avenue (Babylon Road).
- M-40 will be detoured via 102nd Avenue, 26th Street, 114th Avenue (Hooker Road), Eastern Avenue, Industrial Drive, and 118th Avenue (Babylon Road).
- M-89 truck traffic will be redirected via US-131 (Plainwell), M-222 (Monroe Street), Eastern Avenue, Industrial Drive, and 118th Avenue (Babylon Road).
