Each year, the Mann House Women's History Conference highlights an aspect of the lives of Jessie Ellen and Mary ida Man, the sisters who bequeathed their late 1800s childhood home to the State of Michigan. This year, we take a closer look at these women of faith. While both sister’s were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Concord, younger sister Jessie Ellen put her faith into practice by becoming an elder in her church, shaping not only her faith but that of her local community.
