Michigan History Museum - Dia de Los Muertos Celebration
Join Casa de Rosado Galeria and Cultural Center, central Michigan’s only Hispanic center focused on the arts, at the Michigan History Center for Lansing’s 28th Día de Los Muertos celebration! The event will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 3.
The three-day celebration features elaborate memorials to loved ones that have passed built by community members, a sugar skull decorating contest, a Catrin y Catrina sugar skull dress up contest with fun prizes and a special Día de Los Muertos themed Folklorico dance performance by Maria Luz Ballet Folklorico of Lansing.
