Palencia Mobley, P.E. of Detroit is the deputy director and chief engineer of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department. A licensed professional engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, she is responsible for the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation/replacement of linear water and sewer infrastructure, including green storm water infrastructure. Mobley holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Wayne State University.
