To promote the use of asset management practices among Michigan road owning agencies, TAMC, in partnership with Michigan Technological University and other partnering agencies, offer a variety of resources and training programs that help others meet the needs of TAMC audience as well as prepare participants and certify their competence to perform annual data collection activities.

The TAMC has established a way to acknowledge agencies that have incorporated the principles of asset management and adopted an asset management plan to help guide their investment decisions. In addition, TAMC Awards Program provides agencies around the state with excellent case examples to establish their own programs!

TAMC 2024 2025 2026 Strategic Work Plan

Strategic Work Program

The purpose of this work program is to provide guidance on the strategies, financial and tactical tasks associated with carrying out the TAMC program as required under Michigan law. The Michigan Transportation Asset Management Council 2022 – 2024 Strategic Work Program also provides tactical objectives directing the various committees, contractors, support staff and program partners for the timeframe of 2021 - 2023.
