The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) will be presenting the Northern Michigan Environmental Compliance Conference in the Upper Peninsula, June 5-6.
This event is Michigan's premier compliance assistance opportunity and offers a chance to engage with EGLE staff. Staff will support businesses and local officials in navigating complex environmental laws and share best practices for efficiency and sustainability.
EGLE Director Liesl Clark said, "the EGLE management team is looking forward to meeting with our Upper Peninsula community members in-person to talk about collaboration and environmental services."
Conference highlights will include updates on what the new EGLE agency reorganization means for Michigan, an overview on the state PFAS response, and sessions on environmental compliance issues like asbestos, hazardous waste, and Brownfield redevelopment.
