EGLE holds new employee orientation

Photo of new employee orientation in conference room in August 2019.The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) held its fifth round of New Employee Orientation on August 20 and 21 for employees hired between February 1 and June 30. This round included staff from all divisions within the department and were either new hires to state government or hired from another state department. Staff were able to learn more about the department, obtain resources to help them succeed in their position, and meet a team of colleagues who will support them in their career with EGLE.

Attending from the Air Quality Division were Rachel Benaway, Dina Cosier, Jodi Lindgren, Diane Oade, and Marissa Stegman.

Attending from the Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division were MD Abdullah Al Masud, Stephen Pennington, Mohit Varma, and Chelsea Wallner.

Attending from the Environmental Support Division were Jovita Moffett, Richard Olivarez, Judy Palnau, Joel Roseberry, and Carol Simon.

Attending from the Executive Office was Jill Greenberg.

Attending from the Finance Division was Tanya Thurston.

Attending from the Information Management Division was Brad Pagratis.

Attending from the Materials Management Division were Paige Filice, Katriena Guilmette, Tracy Janousek, Christine Matlock, and Irene Queen.

Attending from the Oil, Gas, and Minerals Division was Carrie Johnson.

Attending from the Remediation and Redevelopment Division were Laura Badalamenti, Amy Pitts, Jason Poll, and Andrea Zuidema.

Attending from the Water Resources Division were Mercedes Alvarado, Megan Berry, Jeff Bridgland, Christine Caddick, Bridgett Carver, John Cotrone, Matthew Herman, Whitney Hoppes, Sara McAuliffe, Scott Richards, and Alissa Yanochko.
