MI Environment, the online publication of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy today marks its second anniversary.
In that time, the publication has highlighted the work of EGLE staff to protect the environment and public health in 311 stories. Over 9,500 people now subscribe to the publication's weekly digest. That's an increase of over 4,500 subscribers over the previous year.
"MI Environment continues to highlight the good work that EGLE staffers do on behalf of all Michiganders,” said Hugh McDiarmid, EGLE communications manager. "From serious subjects to light-hearted topics, MI Environment stories are must-reading for the public and media alike."
