• Providing free tuition pathways

Since launch, Michigan Reconnect and Futures for Frontliners put 167,000 Michiganders and counting on a tuition-free path to higher education and skills training. Over 23,000 are already enrolled. We reached out to several Michiganders seeking free tuition to start or continue their path to a postsecondary degree or certificate and heard first-hand what this opportunity means to them. Through their stories, we learned that tuition assistance for a free or deeply discounted credential is a chance for a better life and to contribute to their communities.

    Affordable child care

Through a $1M investment, the MI Tri-Share pilot program has helped Michigan families afford child care by dividing the cost equally between employees, their employer and the State of Michigan.
