WHY THIS GOAL IS AMBITIOUS, YET ATTAINABLE

  • Ambitious: Michigan has historically trailed for small business job growth and had one of the worst years last year due to the manufacturing slow down and COVID-19, amongst other factors.
  • Attainable: Based on historic data, Michigan would only need to add 1 new job per microbusiness served and 2 new jobs per second stage businesses served.
