Who should the municipalities notify of permit approvals or denials?
The municipalities should notify the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) of permit approvals/denials. A letter indicating the following details of the permit should be included:
- Who the permit is with
- Date of application
- Date of approval/denial
- Whether the permit is unilateral or bilateral
- Contact person for the municipality with phone number and email address
