LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Public Service Commission has launched a redesign of its website to provide for a more engaging user experience as the agency continues its efforts to promote transparency.
The new website, at www.michigan.gov/mpsc, was designed to enhance general usability and engagement with utility customers and external stakeholders. It allows visitors to easily access information related to their energy and telecommunications services. The redesign supports Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s directive for all state agencies to be open, transparent and accountable to taxpayers.
“More than 165,000 people visited our website last year, and we want those visitors to have the best experience possible,” MPSC Chairman Sally Talberg said. “Maintaining open communication with external stakeholders and the general public is one of the Commission’s goals. We will continue to enhance our website going forward so it serves as a valuable resource for Michigan residents and businesses.”

The redesigned MPSC website is part of the State of Michigan’s overall effort to improve its digital interactions with the public. Websites for state agencies have been redesigned so that they deliver information constituents seek in simple, intuitive and accessible ways, in a theme that’s consistent across state departments.
