- Call for papers - Michigan's Annual Statewide Interoperable Communications Conference from February 19-22, 2019
The Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division in partnership with the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, Michigan’s Public Safety Communications System will host Michigan’s Annual Statewide Interoperable Communications Conference from February 19-22, 2019, in Traverse City, Michigan.
This training conference is designed for federal, state and local communication experts and emergency response personnel. It provides education and information about the advantages of statewide interoperable communications.
It is critical we stay the course in improving communication, interoperability and information sharing between public safety agencies across the state and regionally with our bordering states. In an emergency, every link in the chain is critical. We must work together and remain committed to our shared strategic vision of interoperability. This conference is a necessary touchpoint for working together, exploring new technology and generating commitment to Michigan’s interoperable communications network.
Date: February 19 - 22, 2019
Place: Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City
We invite you to share your ideas, knowledge and experience by submitting a session proposal for the 2019 conference. Your involvement determines the outstanding development opportunities that we continue to deliver. Please accept this invitation to submit your proposal to DTMB-MI-InterOpConf@Michigan.gov by August 31, 2018.
