With frigid temperatures expected to impact the entire state beginning this weekend, the Michigan State Police (MSP) is encouraging residents and visitors to be extra cautious when going out in the extreme cold.
As part of National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Michigan State Police (MSP) motor carrier officers are teaming up with officers from neighboring states to educate motorists about the signs of human trafficking and to enforce laws that crack down on traffickers.
Students at 62 Michigan high schools will soon benefit from efforts to make teenagers better, safer drivers by participating in Strive For a Safer Drive (S4SD), a public-private partnership between Ford Driving Skills for Life and the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP). The peer-led traffic safety campaign seeks to reduce traffic crashes which are the leading cause of death for teens.
