Nationally, in 2015, alcohol-impaired motor vehicle crashes cost more than an estimated $37 billion annually. NHTSA

In 2019, impaired driving represented 42.5% of Michigan traffic fatalities. CJIC

During the 2017 Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over crackdown, officers arrested 319 drunk drivers and issued 1,564 seat belt citations. OHSP

In 2019, 295 people died in Michigan as a result of alcohol-involved traffic crashes, a decrease from 315 in 2018. CJIC

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 10,511 people lost their lives in traffic crashes in alcohol-impaired driving crashes during 2018.
