"Train Like a Trooper" (1/2 Day)
TEENAGE DEFENSIVE DRIVING is a 5-hour program aimed at the teenager. The curriculum includes 4 hours of hands-on training and 1 hour of online instruction.
The areas covered in class and reinforced during practical exercises are:
Class size is limited to 16 students to allow a 2-to-1 student/instructor ratio.
Michigan State Police patrol vehicles will be provided for all driving exercises.
The Michigan State Police regrets to inform you that due to COVID-19, the 2020 and 2021 Teenage Defensive Driving Programs have been canceled. It is expected that we will again be able to offer this program in the summer of 2022. The 2020 and 2021 wait list for teens age 16-19 will be maintained for the 2022 program.

| TIME: | Students should arrive promptly 15 minutes prior to class start time |
| DRESS CODE: | Appropriate attire for a professional experience. Baggy low ride jeans, flip flops or inappropriate T-shirts are unacceptable. Tennis shoes and fitted jeans are acceptable. |
| PREREQUISITE: | (Mandatory for successful completion of program) Must be a fully licensed GDL Level 2 driver between the ages of 16-19. |
