Purses With a Purpose - St Ignace Post

The Michigan State Police St. Ignace is gathering new purses and bags filled with comfort items to benefit survivors of sexual assault. Suggested items include toiletries, hand sanitizer, socks and candy.

Donations are being accepted through April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, at the St. Ignace Post located at N430 I-75 St. Ignace, MI  49781 The post hours are M-F from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donations can also be dropped off Wednesday-Friday at Harbor Hope Coffee 132 N. State St. St. Ignace, MI  49755

The purses stuffed with items will be donated to Diane Peppler Resource Center.
