The Michigan State Police (MSP) is now accepting submissions from towing service providers to be considered for the MSP Second District closed, no preference towing list. This list will service MSP’s geographic towing areas in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
Submission paperwork may be obtained by emailing a request to Ms. Heather Steppey at steppeyh@michigan.gov.
All completed paperwork and supporting documents must then be submitted by US mail and postmarked no later than Friday, September 25, 2020.
Interested service providers who will be moving forward in the process will be contacted at a later date.

In a continuing commitment to transparency and equitable policing, the Michigan State Police (MSP) today shared an independent study of its 2021 traffic stop data conducted by researchers at the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University (MSU).
