The VA College Toolkit provides information and resources for postsecondary institutions for building and enhancing networks and helpful information to include in your syllabus. In addition to your on-campus community, the Consortium of Michigan Veteran Educators (CMVE) connects higher educational professions in their efforts to support student veterans and their families.
The MVAA Veteran-Friendly Schools program recognizes Michigan postsecondary institutions and their efforts to support veterans. Schools are certified annually as Gold-, Silver-, or Bronze-level Veteran-Friendly Schools. Certified schools are featured on the Veteran-Friendly Schools Dashboard for prospective student veterans.
Schools approved to receive VA educational benefits can apply for Veteran-Friendly School certification. To begin the process now or to paply during the next application cycle, submit an Account Request Form.
