Rebecca Flemming has worked with veterans in several programs nationwide helping veterans overcome barriers and improving their quality of life. She worked with the State of Michigan as a Regional Manager for more than six years within LEO working in the Veterans’ Employment Services Program, providing leadership in seven counties. She also worked as a Program Operations Director for the Partnership for Community Action, in Georgia and led several community-based programs, which included helping veterans. Her latest role was working as the Housing and Justice Reintegration Program Manager with the Nevada Department of Veterans Services.
Rebecca is a Marine Corps veteran, who served four years active duty and is a combat service veteran. Her service in the Marine Corps as an Operations Specialist helped her unit fly over 3,000 hours of accident-free flights. She was able to travel to over 13 different countries in a KC-130 airplane. She also served nine years in the Michigan Army National Guard working as a Senior HR Generalist.
She has a BA in Public Relations from Wayne State University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix and recently completed her PhD in Christian Education online.
Rebecca is a self-published author and has written and published four faith-based books. Rebecca began writing books after the untimely death of her son Christopher, who died in a car accident in 2017. She is also a well-known poet and has performed live poetry around the country. She is married to Kevin Flemming Sr., and they have a blended family that consists of five sons.
