The MVAA Veteran-Friendly Schools program recognizes Michigan postsecondary institutions and their efforts to support veterans. Schools are certified annually as Gold-, Silver-, or Bronze-level Veteran-Friendly Schools. Certified schools are featured on the Veteran-Friendly Schools Dashboard for prospective student veterans.
Schools approved to receive VA educational benefits can apply for Veteran-Friendly School certification. To begin the process now or to paply during the next application cycle, submit an Account Request Form.
Schools must be approved to receive VA educational benefits to apply for certification. Certification occurs announally and requires schools to submit an application. If your institution is not currently certified as a Veteran-Friendly School, you can begin the process now to apply during the next application cycle.
