A Veteran Community Action Team (VCAT) or VC (Veteran Coalition) works to develop a comprehensive network of service providers and community members dedicated to ensuring veterans and their families are served efficiently. Through education, collaboration and the sharing of best practices, this can be achieved. Each of Michigan’s 10 Prosperity Regions has a VCAT or Veteran Coalition that focuses on four main pillars of service: employment, education, health care and quality of life.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Upper Peninsula Veterans Community Action Team is a community-based coalition of care for veterans and their families. Our VCAT is where comprehensive networks of service providers employ best practices, information and tools to serve veterans more quickly and completely.
