Join a naturalist for a casual stroll along the riverfront and through Milliken State Park. Every other month, we’ll focus on a topic related to natural or cultural history. Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather – we’ll go out rain, snow or shine!
After years of hard work as voyageurs, some settled along the Detroit River in what were known as ribbon farms. In our March program, explore the lives and history of the voyageurs and fur trade in this region while walking along the riverfront.
This is a free outdoor event. Regular admission fees apply for Outdoor Adventure Center building access.
