Looking to learn more about fish found in the Detroit River and how to fish? Then this program is for you! Participants ages 8 and up are invited to join us while we cover the basics of fishing including: bait, putting bait on your hook and casting. You will have the opportunity to try what you learned during the fishing portion of the program. This program is strictly catch-and-release fishing.
A daily fishing license is required for participants 17 years and older. All children under the age of 17 can fish for free with adult assistance.
Fee: $5 per person. Preregistration required.
