Our Thrilling Thursday events are returning for the popular summer season, then will take a break for the fall and winter, when we will be offering Free First Sundays.

Each event will feature a specific themed activity adjacent to the Critter Room, plus guests will enjoy all the regular exhibits at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Complimentary admission!

• June through August – closed on Sundays for summer hours; we will resume Thrilling Thursdays for these months:
  • Thursday, June 29, 6-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 27, 6-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 24, 6-8 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 1, noon-3 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 5, noon-3 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 3, noon-3 p.m. 

When you visit, you can also earn digital badges through Detroit Public TV's Digital Adventure Program.

Attention teachers and camp leaders! Free admission days provide a great way to research your group trip to the Outdoor Adventure Center, with your family. Admission is free, and our staff is on hand to answer questions and explain your group visit options.
