• Lean Process Improvement (LPI) teams go through five to 10 days of intensive workshops to analzye their current processes, review customer values, identify issues, and redesign a new process that more efficiently and effectively serve their customers. After completing an LPI, teams are tasked with implementing the outputs of a workshop to improve their​ work processes and the services they provide to Michigan citizens.
