New Collective Bargaining Agreements Approved

 

 On December 12, 2018 the Civil Service Commission approved new agreements for employees represented by the UAW, MCO, SEIU 517M S&E Unit, HSS Unit and Technical Unit, MSEA and AFSCME Council 25. Non-economic provisions of the agreements took effect January 1, 2019 and will expire December 31, 2021.

Wage and group insurance provisions are effective in October 2019 through September 30, 2020. Effective October 1, 2019, eligible employees covered by these agreements receive a 2% base wage increase, and a 2% one-time lump sum payment. There will be no plan design changes for the State Health Plan PPO, the Dental Plan or the Vision Plan for FY20.

Wage and group insurance provisions for October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2022 were approved by the Civil Service Commission on December 11, 2019. Effective October 1, 2020, eligible employees covered by these agreements receive a 2% base wage increase.  Effective the first full pay period in April 2021, eligible employees covered by these agreements receive a 1% base wage increase. Effective October 1, 2021, eligible employees covered by these agreements receive a 2% base wage increase.  Effective the first full pay period in April 2022, eligible employees covered by these agreements receive a 1% base wage increase.
