The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) will update residents in the Oscoda area on its continuing investigation of PFAS contamination near the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base and Oscoda area sites.

MPART representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) along with District Health Department No. 2 will host a virtual community meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. July 21.

The meeting is planned as an online event, rather than an in-person meeting, to comply with state measures designed to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions online. Individuals without internet access can listen to the meeting by calling this toll-free number, 877-568-4108, and entering the access code 115-118-223# and then the audio pin 54620 followed by the # sign.

Meeting registration is open. The meeting will be recorded and posted on the MPART website.
