The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) will update residents in the Oscoda area on its continuing investigation of PFAS contamination near the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base and Oscoda area sites on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
MPART representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE); the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS); and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) along with District Health Department No. 2 will host the virtual community meeting on Jan. 19, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
The meeting is planned as an online event, rather than an in-person meeting to comply with current state measures designed to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

After the presentations, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
The meeting will be recorded and posted along with materials within a few days and can be viewed on the website Michigan.gov/Wurtsmith.
