What is a ‘wraparound grant’? Am I eligible?
The state has one-time funding to provide grants for Michigan Reconnect students to be used for additional costs -- like books, childcare, internet access, transportation -- to help students pursue and complete their certificate or degree.
To be eligible for the grants, students must:
- Be a Michigan Reconnect scholarship participant
- Have completed at least one semester with the scholarship program
- Be enrolled or in the process of enrolling for a following qualifying semester
Each student is eligible for up to $550 per academic year for eligible costs. See our List of Colleges page to contact your college today to see if you're eligible and how you can receive these funds through your college.
