Short-Term Training Program
Students can choose to attend a career training program in Michigan through the Short-Term Training Program and receive a one-time scholarship up to $1,500 towards tuition costs.
To be eligible for the Short-Term Training Program you must:
- Be at least 25 years old when you apply
- Be a Michigan resident for at least a year
- Have earned a high school diploma, high school equivalency (e.g., GED), or certificate of completion
- Not have already earned an associate or bachelor’s degree
The Short-Term Training Program will be launched later this year. Once it is available, you’ll need to take these steps to participate:
- Complete the Short-Term Training Program application.
- Enroll in an eligible career training program.
