    Senator Tom Casperson and Representative Sara Cambensy are inviting parents to learn more about Michigan's 529 prepaid tuition program. During this meeting MET representatives will also unviel and discuss the results of a survey detailing the college savings habits of Upper Peninsula residents.

  • Festival of the Angry Bear Date:  April 14, 2018  Time:  03:00 PM - 07:00 PM Description:

    College savings experts and Whoodini will be hanging out at the Happy Den for Cubs at the Festival of the Angry Bear passing out information on how you can start saving for your young cub's future college education. Whoodini might even participate in the evening's costume contest!

  • SOM Brown Bag Lunch Presentation-Austin Building Date:  April 17, 2018  Time:  12:00 PM - 01:00 PM Description:

    Learn more about Michigan's 529 college savings plans MET and MESP at this in-person presentation. The session will last approximately one hour and allow time for questions and answers. No need to pre-register for this event.

    Participants who are not state of Michigan employees will need to show ID to enter the building.

    Help us make the dreams of a college education come true by attending our pizza party. Your donation supports the Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund. The fund awards scholarships to youth who have experienced foster care who are attending Michigan colleges and universities.

    This FREE popular event features demonstrations, speakers, and exhibit booths ranging from car seat safety to infant oral health.  You will meet some of the area’s pediatricians, midwives, doctors, dentists, lactation consultants, preschool teachers, nutritionists, and more!
