  • If a student chooses to attend an out-of-state college or university, a refund can be directed to the college or university. The refund amount will be based on the average tuition of the Michigan community colleges at the time the student requests the refund, but not less than the amount paid for the contract. Refunds are paid over a two year period in equal amounts.
  • If a student chooses not to attend college a refund can be directed to the refund designee as named in the contract. The refund amount will be based on the lowest of the Michigan community colleges tuition rates at the time of the refund request, but not less than the amount paid for the contract. Refunds are paid over a two year period in equal amounts.

Some areas of the state are not within a community college district.
