Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan
Last week, Governor Rick Snyder met with hundreds of Michiganders about the state's economy and the more than 220,000 private sector jobs that have been created. Mary Engelman, a participant in the town hall and executive director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, says that Michigan's economy is on the upswing.
Engelman points to recent policies in Lansing as one reason for Michigan's improving economy -- along with growing entrepreneurship and innovation among job creators. She says that decisions in Lansing have opened up doors for business owners.
