MDOT to implement a mix of fixes in Kent and Montcalm counties

PROJECT DETAILS:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $605,000 to repair pavement on M-57 within the city limits of Carson City, and resurface the Carson City carpool lot near the post office. The project also includes pavement repairs on the US-131 interchange ramps at M-82, Cannonsville Road and 22 Mile Road.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Daytime lane closures will be in effect on M-57. The US-131 ramps will be closed one interchange at a time.

SAFETY BENEFITS:
This project will improve the ride quality and extend the service life of the roadway.
