September 21, 2017 -- The northbound lanes of US-41 will be closed in Menominee beginning Sunday for emergency road repair work. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon.

Two lanes of US-41 from Dunkin Donuts to the Nicolet Bank in Menominee are expected to be closed late in the day on Sunday, Sept. 24. The closure is necessary to repair sinkholes that have developed due to leaks in the sanitary sewer and deterioration of manholes.

One lane of traffic will be open in each direction via a traffic shift. Motorists should expect back-ups in the area. Local traffic is encouraged to find alternate routes. Access will be maintained to all businesses within the work zone; however, the 11th Street intersection will be closed and no left turns will be permitted in the work area in order to minimize congestion and back-ups.
