The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will resume resurfacing M-84 through Saginaw Township and the city of Saginaw. This work is part of an overall $1.3 million investment to improve nearly 2 miles of M-84 from State Street to south of McCarty Road. Paving operations were delayed by inclement weather during the 2018 construction season.

Traffic will be maintained with single-lane closures and traffic shifts; one lane will remain open in each direction.
This work will improve the pavement surface and bring sidewalk ramps compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act standards, while extending the life of the road.
